Our new spot in Tulum

Well at this point we have been living in the van for 5 months, wuth the exception of a week in Orizaba in the hotel. So we thought we'd update this post with a shot of the piece of property we're staying on in Tulum, 4 miles from the Caribe........Its a walled 30x30 meter lot with a few coconut palms, ciruela, and other tropical plants, there are also big lizards and iguanas.
Here's the Vanagator where we sleep for now....

The Palapa is of corrugated tar-paper but nice and cool even though today was 90F in the shade. The hammocks are a regular spot for us after a bike ride to the beach.

under the palapa, we have the kitchen, hammocks and an outdoor shower set up.
(shower is off to the right, not shown- maybe later!)

even a Calabash.....

Till next time,...
