Greetings All,
On this post, we explore a little around the states of Queretaro and Puebla. Click the photos to enlarge!
Tula archaeological site. Created by the pre-Columbian Toltec civilization at their capital city, (in modern-day Hidalgo, Mexico). The Atlantean statues are around 1,000 years old. Carved from basalt blocks, they depict elite Toltec warriors wearing feathered headdresses and butterfly-shaped chest plates. Tula Chico was abandoned between 850 and 900CE.

Cholula Pyramid in Puebla is the largest Pyramid in the world by volume. Turns out, its hard to photograph the largest Pyramid in the world! Most of it is still covered up and mistaking it for a natural hill, the Spanish constructed the Catholic church directly at the summit in 1594.
